VOICE is built on accountability. Our immediate objectives are specific, time-bound, and publicly stated — so our community can hold us to our commitments and track real progress.
These five objectives define VOICE's near-term impact targets. They are the benchmarks by which we measure our progress — and by which our community should measure us.
Volunteers of VOICE participating in 50% of all voluntary civic bodies in North America — ensuring Indian-origin representation is present, active, and influential in every advisory, planning, and community body that shapes life in our county.
Target: 2027At least one Indian-origin community member elected to a North America County Council position — bringing the voice, values, and lived experience of our community into the legislative body that shapes county policy and law.
Target: 2029At least one Indian-origin community member elected to the Board of Education in North America — ensuring that education policy reflects the values, priorities, and diversity of the Indian-origin families that make up a significant and growing share of our school community.
Target: 2029Develop a comprehensive, effective framework and roadmap for members of the Indian-origin community in North America to effectively engage in civic systems and local governance machinery. This resource will serve as a living guide — demystifying local government and lowering the barrier to civic participation for every community member.
Target: 2027Build and sustain a pool of 100+ committed, trained volunteers ready to participate in canvassing, fundraising, public awareness campaigns, and advocacy activities — the civic force that powers every VOICE initiative and gives our community lasting organizational strength.
Target: 2027VOICE was established in 2024. Our programs are actively building toward each objective. Join us to accelerate the progress.
Your membership and volunteer hours directly advance each of these objectives.
